Mr. Shifrin is a founding principal of Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit and has been a practicing attorney since 1977. He concentrates his practice in the areas of condominium, townhome and homeowner associations and co-operative property issues. Mr. Shifrin’s devotion to this area of law is evidenced by his numerous articles, newspaper columns, and published books on topics concerning community associations. He is also a fellow of the Community Associations Institute College of Community Association Lawyers. In 2007, Mr. Shifrin was named Chairman of the Condominium Advisory Council by the Illinois Legislature.
