Michael G. Kreibich joined the Litigation Department at Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 2006. His current practice concentrates on general litigation and litigation as it applies to Condominium Associations, Townhome Associations, and Homeowner Associations. Mr. Kreibich has successfully represented clients through all phases of litigation, including both bench and jury trials.
Prior to joining Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit, Mr. Kreibich practiced in the area of insurance litigation in Chicago. At that time, Mr. Kreibich defended insureds in numerous lawsuits, receiving several favorable jury trial verdicts.
While attending law school, Mr. Kreibich served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Brigid Mary McGrath in the Law Division, Jury Trials section at the Daley Center in Chicago, Illinois. During that time, Mr. Kreibich assisted with the proceedings of several large jury trials resulting in verdicts of over $10 million each.
Mr. Kreibich resides in Vernon Hills with his wife, Elizabeth. He is a member of the Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit softball team and enjoys remaining active by playing all sports. Further, Mr. Kreibich is a season ticket holder and avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.
