Mr. Zerman has been a practicing attorney since 1981. Before joining Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 2001, Mr. Zerman had practiced both as a solo practitioner and as a partner in a large Chicago law firm. Mr. Zerman concentrates his practice in business transactions, including real estate acquisitions, sales and financing, as well as corporate, partnership and limited liability transactions and day-to-day operations and financing. He has represented businesses and individuals of all sizes, including large, publicly-held businesses, closely-held businesses, as well as sole proprietorships. Mr. Zerman, who is a C.P.A., believes in a hands-on, personal and responsive approach for all clients.
