Bio

Bob is among the Midwest’s most visible and highly respected Condo & HOA attorneys and industry thought leaders. He is a seasoned business strategist at Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit and has been instrumental to the firm’s growth and success for over a decade. Bob has led or been closely involved with many of the firm’s Condo & HOA Law innovations, including litigation insurance for condominium, homeowner, and townhome associations. He has extensive experience advising and consulting with association boards of directors and property managers on a wide range of matters, including drafting and reviewing by-laws and declarations and service agreements. Bob is a frequent lecturer on issues of concern to community associations and has authored numerous articles on Condo & HOA Law. He has served as the Chairman of the firm’s Condominium and Homeowner Association Practice Group and as a member of the KSN Leadership Team. Bob has been practicing law since 1984.
