Ms. Zweifel, a principal of the firm and a senior litigator, joined Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 1998.  She concentrates her practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis in injunctive proceedings relating to covenant and rule enforcement and other chancery actions.  Ms. Zweifel’s experience also includes defending and prosecuting actions for breach of contract, declaratory judgment, partition, replevin, administrative discrimination complaints, code violations and forcible entry and detainer actions.  Ms. Zweifel is also a lecturer/instructor in condominium and homeowner association law at Joliet Junior College (see Seminars and Class for a list of currently offered courses). Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Zweifel worked as a judicial clerk in the Chancery Division of the Cook County Circuit Court.
