Mr. Levy has been a practicing attorney since 1985. Before joining Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 2008, Mr. Levy practiced for eighteen years with a small Chicago law firm, where he advised, counseled and provided comprehensive business and personal legal services to small- and medium-sized business and the owners of such businesses. Mr. Levy concentrates his practice in business law, which includes organizing corporations and limited liability companies, business transactions, purchases and sales of businesses, day-to-day business operations, business financing, real estate transactions and negotiating and drafting commercial leases. In addition, Mr. Levy practices in the areas of estate planning and estate administration, including preparing and coordinating estate plan documents, implementing business succession planning and wealth preservation strategies, and preparing estate and gift tax returns.
