Attorney Kevin Kennedy concentrates his practice in the areas of community association law, collection, litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, and real estate transactions.
Kevin has extensive experience representing condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations. He advises board members and property managers on day-to-day matters including community policies, rule enforcement, contract drafting/review, dispute resolution, assessment collections, foreclosure litigation, and more.
Kevin is a Board Member of the House of Blue Hope; an international aid organization which houses, feeds, clothes, and cares for at-risk children in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. House of Blue Hope provides these children the opportunity to “overcome poverty through education” by enrolling them in school and tutoring programs and providing for their health care. Kevin currently serves as House of Blue Hope’s VP of Fundraising.
Kevin attended the University of Miami as an undergraduate, receiving his bachelor’s degree in English Literature, with honors. During his time at the University of Miami, Kevin was involved in campus life, serving as a Senator on the Student Government, Vice President of his fraternity, and a board member of numerous campus service organizations. Kevin then attended Nova Southeastern University, where he received his Juris Doctor degree. Kevin was invited to become a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and participated in moot court competitions in Florida and New York.
Kevin is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
