Attorney Mia Segal focuses her practice on the representation of condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations along with cooperatives.
Mia has been practicing law since her admission to the Illinois Bar in 2007. She has extensive experience in civil litigation, as well as researching and analyzing existing and proposed legislation, rules, regulations, and policies.
Mia uses her previous legal experience to work efficiently on behalf of her clients while also ensuring that they are receiving the best possible service and outcomes.
Prior to joining KSN, Mia worked at the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services for over ten years. As a Managing Attorney, she led a practice group focused on housing law. Along with hiring and training attorneys, her work involved representing clients through fact investigation, motion practice, oral argument, discovery, negotiations, legal research and writing. She began her legal career in labor and employment law.
Mia earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007. She is also an MBA Candidate at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
