Attorney Kathryn Winkler focuses her practice on the representation of condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations.

She draws on more than a decade of litigation experience representing clients in complex disputes throughout Florida, including extensive trial experience and insurance coverage matters.

Prior to joining KSN, Kathryn represented nationwide insurance carriers and their insureds in coverage and claim disputes involving automobile, property, and casualty claims from pre-suit investigation through trial. She also managed large-scale first-party personal injury protection litigation and later served as a partner at a multi-state law firm, where she successfully tried numerous cases to verdict across Florida. After spending eleven years representing insurers, Kathryn transitioned to representing plaintiffs and policyholders, providing her with valuable insight into both sides of insurance litigation.

Kathryn earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Criminology with a minor in Classical Studies from the University of Florida. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review and was a member of the St. Thomas Moot Court Team. Kathryn also previously served as an adjunct professor at St. Thomas University College of Law, teaching insurance law.
