They will discuss disaster preparedness for Florida condo, HOA, and townhome associations. This session will cover how associations can proactively prepare for disasters, protect their properties, and understand board responsibilities before and after an emergency. The presentation will review:
- Types of disasters that commonly impact Florida community associations
- Best practices for disaster preparation, property inspections, and risk assessments
- Insurance coverage considerations, including burst pipes and storm-related damage
- Board member responsibilities and decision-making best practices during emergencies
The presentation is eligible for one (1) hour of continuing education credit for Florida Community Association Managers (CAM) and homeowner (HOA) board members.
