Jonathan Crowell focuses his practice on the representation of condominium, homeowner, and townhome community associations. He also practices in the area of transactional real estate, specifically, commercial property acquisitions and dispositions, with an emphasis in Section 15 condominium deconversions at KSN.
Jonathan’s ambition for real estate law allows him to passionately and effectively serve clients in both Illinois and Indiana. His work experience in multiple areas of real estate law along with his educational experience puts him in a unique position to assist clients with a broad range of issues.
Prior to joining KSN as an attorney, Jonathan gained valuable experience as a law clerk in multiple KSN departments including community association representation, condominium deconversions, litigation, collections, property tax appeals, and housing/employment. During this time, he also developed skills in residential real estate transactions and zoning. Before returning to KSN, Jonathan worked as an attorney at a prior law firm where he served as outside counsel for commercial loan transactions and assisted clients with commercial sales and leasing matters.
Jonathan earned his Juris Doctorate from UIC School of Law and attended Arizona State University for undergraduate studies, where he majored in Political Science.
While attending UIC School of Law, Jonathan worked at the Community Enterprise and Solidarity Economy Clinic where he assisted clients in organizing their businesses that were focused on real estate developments. He also received the Order of John Marshall and Moot Court Honors Council awards while attending law school.
