Kevin Cruz concentrates his practice on the representation of condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations. He handles housing discrimination matters, building code violation matters, and general litigation.
Throughout his career, Kevin has gained trial and litigation experience through mediation, arbitration, bench, and jury trials. He has experience in family law, consumer protection, housing law, probate law, general civil litigation, immigration law, and real estate transactions.
Kevin served as President of the Asian-Pacific-American Law Students Association and Vice President of the Fair Housing Law Association while attending law school. After graduation, he was the Clinical Attorney Fellow and Supervising Attorney at The John Marshall Law School Fair Housing Legal Clinic where he mentored student interns about Fair Housing Laws, Fair Lending Laws, and Civil Litigation.
Kevin is also a member of the Illinois chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI), Illinois State Bar Association, Filipino-American Lawyer’s Association Member, and the Chicago Attorney Motorcyclists Association.
Kevin earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and attended Benedictine University for undergraduate studies, where he majored in Pre-Law Studies.
