Melissa Noland concentrates her practice on the representation of condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations in Illinois and Indiana.
Melissa advises her clients on all aspects of corporate law including: association contracts, amendments to declarations and by-laws, covenant violations/rule enforcement, the Indiana grievance process, the architectural review process, approval of annual budgets and the special assessment process, board elections, assessment collection, developer turnover matters, and assists Illinois condominium associations working with developers in Section 15 condominium deconversions. Melissa also prosecutes covenant and rule violations on behalf of associations and enforces the payment of assessments.
Her experience in multiple areas of association law, along with being a resident of Northwest Indiana, puts Melissa in a unique position to assist clients in both Illinois and Indiana with a broad range of issues.
Melissa is a member of CAI Illinois and CAI Indiana and serves as the Vice-Chair for the Golf Committee for CAI Indiana (2025-2026).
Melissa is also a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
Melissa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and is a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
