Neha Parikh has extensive experience with condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community association governance, including: declaration and rule enforcement, violation hearings, assessment collection, and forcible entry and detainer actions. She represents community associations at administrative hearings on building code violations, in foreclosure actions, and in landlord/tenant disputes.
Neha has also handled diverse litigation matters including actions for injunctive and declaratory relief, as well as a variety of contract and enforcement claims. She is experienced in handling all aspects of the governance and litigation process from legal drafting to oral argument, negotiating settlement agreements and presenting evidence at trial.
Neha joined Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 2010. She was previously employed at two Chicagoland law firms where she handled contract disputes and other commercial litigation matters. Neha has also worked in-house for a Fortune 100 insurance company where she assisted with the defense of insurers and gained experience in a variety of insurance defense related litigation matters.
