Attorney Lisa Dominick focuses her practice on the representation of landlords and property managers in the areas of collection matters, evictions, landlord/tenant disputes, breaches of contracts, and covenant and rule enforcement.
Lisa has a broad range of legal experience related to assisting landlords and rental property managers with a wide spectrum of legal issues including evictions, subsidized housing, litigation, commercial and residential real estate transactions, local ordinances, contract disputes, and foreclosures.
Prior to joining KSN, Lisa represented Illinois and Chicagoland property owners in commercial and residential purchases, sales transactions, building code violations, and dispute litigation (foreclosure, eviction, property).
Lisa has over 10 years of legal experience, including acting as a law clerk for the Chief Judge of the Family Division in Cook County where she honed her skills in drafting court documents, conducting legal research, and engaging with clients. During her first year of law school, she earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, which is awarded to the student who earns the highest grade in the class (Contracts, 2015). She was also a staff writer/associate editor of DePaul Journal of Women, Gender, and Law and a member of the Illinois State University cheerleading team.
Lisa earned her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. She attended Illinois State University for undergraduate studies where she majored in majored in English with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.
