Nick serves as Chairperson of KSN’s Litigation Department and focuses his practice on general litigation and construction defect litigation as it applies to condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations. In addition to association law, Nick has extensive experience at representing clients with various backgrounds through all phases of litigation.
In the 2012-2017 editions of Illinois Super Lawyers magazine, Nick has been recognized as an Illinois Rising Star in the practice area of general litigation. Inclusion in this listing is limited to less than 2.5% of lawyers under 40 years of age in the State of Illinois.
Nick also co-authored (with colleague Diane J. Silverberg) a chapter titled “Condominium, Townhome, and Homeowners’ Association Litigation,” contained in the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s 2016 volume concerning Real Estate Litigation.
Nick graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2003 where he served as Vice-President of the Moot Court Honor Society. He was also Notes and Comments Editor on the Chicago-Kent Law Review. Prior to law school, Nick attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where he served as Student Body President.
