Since joining Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 1990, Ronald Kapustka has concentrated his practice representing community associations (condominium, homeowner, and townhome), association collections, civil litigation, and real estate property tax appeals.

Ronald excels at advising association boards with respect to collections, foreclosures, and bankruptcies by helping them take pre-emptive measures to avoid worst case scenarios.

He currently serves as the firm’s lead community association collection attorney, helping associations establish and enforce aggressive collections policies. Ronald also litigates highly complex collections matters.

Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit clients appreciate Ronald’s vast legal knowledge, straightforward style, and relentless pursuit of the best possible outcome in every legal situation. He also works with management companies to hold seminars to educate unit owners on their options with respect to association collections.

Ronald is a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI, Wisconsin chapter) and practices before the Cook County Assessor’s Office, the Cook County Board of Review, and the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board.
