An enthusiastic attorney, Wendy Durbin has been practicing in the forcible courts for over sixteen years. She joined Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 2012, focusing her practice on representing landlords, co-ops, condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations.

She provides general landlord/tenant counsel within the Chicago area on issues including evictions, lease drafting and review.

Wendy has earned a respectable reputation with judges, utilizing her extensive experience in collections, evictions, and foreclosures. She is well-versed with landlord/tenant law, the Chicago Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance (RLTO), building court cases, breach of contract, and chancery litigation matters.

As a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Wendy serves on the Young Lawyers Section Real Estate Committee. She has also led education for the Chicago Bar Association on the topics of forcible entry and detainer.

Wendy received her undergraduate degree from the University of Akron and is a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
