Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit is proud to announce that attorneys David Bendoff, Michael Kreibich, and Diane Silverberg have been recognized as 2017 Illinois Super Lawyers. Additionally, KSN attorney Nicholas Mitchell has been named a 2017 Illinois Rising Star.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of exceptional lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. The annual distinction is earned by no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state.

No more than two-and-a-half percent of attorneys in a state are named Rising Stars. The lawyers who make this list must be under 40 years old or have less than 10 years of legal experience. They go through the same selection process as Super Lawyers, excluding the peer evaluations.

David Bendoff is a highly accomplished common interest community associations (condominium, townhome, homeowner, Master) attorney. He also has experience in the cooperative (or co-op) form of ownership. David is a frequent educational resource and a well-respected business and civic leader.

Michael Kreibich advises Common Interest Community Association (condominium, townhome, homeowner, Master) clients on a variety of major and day-to-day issues. He uses his extensive litigation background to assist association clients through the difficult disputes and decisions they inevitably face.

Nicholas Mitchell focuses his practice on general litigation and construction defect litigation as it applies to Common Interest Community Associations (condominium, townhome, homeowner, Master). Additionally, he has extensive experience representing clients with various backgrounds through all phases of litigation.

Diane Silverberg concentrates her practice in matters of complex business and real estate litigation and appeals, with an emphasis on community associations. With over twenty-five years of litigation and appellate experience, she is able to evaluate the relative strengths and weaknesses of her clients’ cases thoroughly and efficiently, thereby helping them arrive at an early understanding of their legal options and likely outcomes, along with an estimated cost of representation through resolution.

Since 1983, KSN has been a legal resource for condominium, homeowner, and townhome associations. Additionally, we represent clients in real estate transactions, collections, landlord/tenant issues, and property tax appeals. We represent thousands of clients and community associations throughout the US with offices in several states including Florida, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
