Timothy Jacobs concentrates his practice in the area of property tax assessment appeals. Since becoming a member of the Illinois bar in 2005, Tim’s efforts have substantially lowered his clients’ respective property tax burdens. While his current practice focuses primarily on the representation of condominium, homeowner (HOA), and townhome community associations, Timothy has also effectively advocated on behalf of commercial, industrial, and apartment building owners. Amidst an extremely daunting Illinois property tax appeal process, Timothy’s efforts have substantially lowered their respective property tax burdens.

Since 2015, KSN’s tax appeal department led by Tim has worked diligently to save our clients hundreds of millions of dollars in reduced property tax assessments.

Timothy prides himself on guiding his clients through constant substantive and procedural rule changes and explaining the complexities of the assessment appeal process in simple and understandable language. For nearly a decade, he has spoken to both professional groups and community organizations regarding the benefits of aggressively property appealing tax assessments.
